🔧 What You’ll Do
- Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance across the facility
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, components, and equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools daily (grinders, saws, drill press, hydraulic pullers, etc.)
- Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
- Maintain and repair pumps, piping, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, lubrication systems, and more
- Work with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Read and interpret mechanical/electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Modify or build equipment to support production needs
- Document work using maintenance software systems
- Collaborate with peers and leadership to improve reliability and efficiency
- Operate forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts safely
⚙️ What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical basics, and preventative maintenance
- Ability to weld, align equipment, and read blueprints
- Experience with industrial tools and diagnostic equipment
- AA degree in Industrial Maintenance is a plus (not required)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
