Job DescriptionEmployment Attorney
A leading global law firm is seeking an associate to join its nationally recognized Labor and Employment practice. The group is widely regarded as one of the premier employer side employment litigation teams in the country and represents sophisticated companies in their most complex and high risk employment matters.
The Role
This role offers the opportunity to work in a litigation focused practice that handles matters of national importance. The work is primarily employer side employment litigation, with some involvement in advice, counseling, and internal investigations, depending on experience and interest.
The litigation practice centers on class and representative actions, including wage and hour matters and discrimination based claims. Associates work closely with senior lawyers on complex cases, developing strategy, managing discovery, and preparing critical briefing.
What we are looking for
Ideal candidates are from law school class years 2017 through 2021 and have three or more years of employment law experience at a peer law firm. Meaningful experience handling employment class actions is strongly preferred. Candidates should have excellent writing, analytical, and problem solving skills, along with a strong commitment to client service and collaboration.
