The Mission: Manage, Lead, and Deliver Results
As the Bilingual Multifamily Regional Property Manager, you will strategically oversee the successful operations of 9 diverse multifamily properties spanning Dallas, Garland, and Fort Worth. This isn't just a management job; it's a leadership role that requires consistent travel across the portfolio and adept handling of all operational, financial, and compliance facets.
Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas:
- DFW Regional Oversight & Travel: Consistently commute and provide hands-on leadership across all 9 properties in the DFW region (Dallas, Garland, Fort Worth), ensuring adherence to the highest standards of operation and maintenance.
- Owner/Stakeholder Relationship Management: Act as the primary liaison, providing clear operational reporting and confidently managing communications and expectations with property owners and stakeholders who are very involved and may have complex demands.
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise Property Managers and site teams, fostering a culture of accountability and performance excellence.
- Financial & Revenue Strategy: Achieve maximum portfolio cash flow through aggressive rent revenue management, effective collections, and strict cost control programs. Monitor budgets and swiftly deploy corrective action plans based on financial performance reports.
- Affordable Housing Compliance Expertise: Ensure meticulous compliance and operational excellence across a portfolio containing Mixed Affordable Communities and related programs.
- Property Inspections: Conduct regular, detailed property inspections to ensure market-ready and lender inspection condition and highest maintenance standards are maintained.
Required Skills and Qualifications (What You’ll Bring)
- DFW Regional Experience is a Must: 3-5 years of direct experience as a Regional, Area, or Operations Manager, with verifiable, hands-on site-based experience managing multiple properties within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
- Owner Management Acumen: Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and manage the expectations of involved property owners and key stakeholders.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in Spanish and English is required for effective communication with staff, residents, and the community.
- Compliance Mastery: Expert, demonstrable knowledge of compliance related to the operation of Mixed Affordable assets (e.g., LIHTC, HUD, etc.).
- Required Licensing: Valid Driver’s license and the consistent ability to travel to all 9 DFW-area properties.
- Software Preference: Experience with ResMan preferred.
- Certifications: Industry recognized certifications desirable but not required (e.g., HCCP, CAM, CPM, CAPS, ARM).
