IMAQ Resources, LLC provides federal government agencies with uniformed security and facilities support services. We have an immediate need for a Custodian. The Custodian will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness throughout the entire facility. This includes the stocking of supplies for both employees and visitors.
Essential Functions:
- Empty trash cans or recycling bins and ensure trash receptacles are clean and sanitary.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, and restock supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of flooring, including carpet, tile, hardwood, and vinyl involving sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
- The use of heavier equipment to perform cleaning services (i.e. waxing, buffing, stripping) is usually performed by the Utility Cleaner.
- Cleaning of offices, restrooms, lobbies, hallways, conference rooms, and common areas.
- All custodians are trained in safety protocols, including safe handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals, green and sustainable cleaning, safety data sheets (SDS), and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to minimize health and safety risks.
Education/Certifications:
- Minimal of High School diploma is required
Required Qualifications:
- 1 years of relevant experience required.
- Custodians will obtain Custodial Technician certification from ISSA/CMI or equivalent.
