About the Job:

Project Designer I will plan and design, and/or facilitate the execution of new building designs, building expansions or renovations according to client’s needs, desires, and financial resources. This is a hybrid remote role.



Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Works independently and collaboratively on architectural design projects and often coordinates project design efforts
  • Develops planning and creative-design concepts for projects
  • Creates project designs and plans for all phases of projects and coordinates building design consultants while monitoring drawings
  • Initiates and creates project designs and plans of all phases of one or more projects and has responsibility for preparing presentation and design drawings
  • Serves as secondary liaison contact with clients to bring projects to completion on schedule, within budget and with maximum client satisfaction
  • Coordinates all project efforts to ensure effective execution, prepares strategic plans, and serves as primary client liaison
  • Other duties as assigned


What we are Looking For:


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Zero to five years in developing details and providing planning and design support in the preparation of design development
  • Proficient with computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and Revit
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience:

  • Zero to five years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Occasional construction site visits may occur
