Duties and Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the full lifecycle of internal website applications
- Writing efficient code using best practice for software development
- Developing an internal invoice review and approval application
- Communicating with business colleagues to gather and refine requirements and specifications for content development within agreed-upon timelines
- Researching a variety of software programs
- Creating and maintaining the documentation for software used
Skills and Qualifications
· 10 years minimum combined college-level education in Software Engineering, Application Development, or related Computer Science program, and/or professional experience in Web and Application Development
· Professional experience in full-stack web development with front-end technologies like HTTP, JavaScript/jQuery, AJAX, and CSS
· Professional experience in back-end coding languages such as C# or VB in a .Net environment
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Preference given for professional experience in database development, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases
· Preference given for experience with Visual Studio, Razor/Blazor, Bootstrap, DevExpress, or Azure Cloud
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
· Solution-oriented and high-level programming skills
· Ability to troubleshoot and optimize web pages for security and responsiveness
· Understanding of network diagnostics and analytical tools
Education
BA in Computer Science or associated field
