They are seeking an experienced Automation Manager to lead their automation strategy and drive quality engineering excellence.
Role Summary
As an Automation Manager, you will lead and manage the QA automation team, define automation strategies, implement best practices, and ensure delivery of high-quality software. Youll be responsible for the planning, execution, and reporting of automated testing using Selenium and related tools, driving continuous improvement across QA processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA automation engineers.
- Define and implement a robust automation testing strategy aligned with software delivery goals.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, Product, PM, DevOps) to integrate automated testing in CI/CD pipelines.
- Plan and prioritize automation efforts based on risk, business value, and delivery schedules.
- Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to optimize testing processes.
- Drive test automation best practices, standards, and metrics reporting.
- Provide clear reporting on automation health, coverage, and quality metrics.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing automation suites.
- Support performance, regression, integration, and UI testing.
- Ensure compliance with security and accessibility standards as required by the client.
- Act as Technical Lead for QA automation initiatives, guiding solution decisions.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience:
- 6+ years of hands-on test automation experience.
- 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role within QA/Test Automation.
- Strong expertise with Selenium WebDriver (Java, Python, or C# implementations).
- Experience leading automation within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
- Proven experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Solid understanding of SDLC and QA processes.
- Experience with source code/version control (Git).
- Familiarity with automated test reporting tools and dashboards.
