Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced TOC Shift Supervisor / Computer Network Support Specialist to join a high-performance team responsible for the stability, performance, and security of a large-scale, nationwide IT infrastructure. This position plays a critical role in monitoring and supporting complex network environments, ensuring optimal system operations, and quickly resolving incidents to maintain mission-critical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, including LAN, WAN, and Internet segments
  • Perform ongoing network maintenance and support to ensure minimal service interruption
  • Lead or serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on technical issues and operational improvements
  • Support real-time infrastructure monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and support large-scale upgrades, migrations, and technology implementations
  • Provide executive-level reporting and contribute to operational optimization through automation and AI solutions
  • Maintain a proactive, solutions-oriented approach in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of IT experience in a lead or SME role
  • Certification in at least one of the following:
    • CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert)
    • CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
    • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
    • RCSP (Riverbed Certified Solutions Professional)
    • MCITP/MCSE (Microsoft Certified IT Professional / Solutions Expert)
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
  • Favorably adjudicated background investigation
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Physical and Mental Qualifications:

  • Maintain focus and awareness throughout scheduled working hours.
  • Perform tasks requiring prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk, utilizing a computer, mouse, and keyboard.
  • Lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds as needed.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • Quickly learn and retain routine tasks and processes.
  • Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, business correspondence proficiency, and self-management capabilities.
