A well-regarded intellectual property law firm is seeking junior-level associates to join its growing Mechanical Litigation and PTAB teams in Atlanta, GA. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes patent disputes involving mechanical technologies across a variety of industries.
Ideal candidates will bring litigation or PTAB experience, strong technical backgrounds, and a desire to build a long-term career in IP law.
Qualifications & Candidate Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in patent litigation or inter partes review (IPR) before the PTAB
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
- USPTO registration number required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical and legal issues
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in patent litigation matters and IPR proceedings
- Analyze patents and prior art for litigation and PTAB strategies
- Draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and expert reports
- Support discovery efforts and deposition preparation
- Collaborate with technical and legal teams to develop case strategies
