What We’re Looking For:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license in the state of New York (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy methods to diverse student needs
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions targeting speech, language, voice, and fluency
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for students
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and professional learning activities
  • Stay current with best practices and regulations in school-based speech therapy
