Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee the day-to-day administration of the Human Resources function for our growing manufacturing organization. This hands-on role is responsible for recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and HR operations across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage a wide variety of HR responsibilities while providing excellent service to employees and supervisors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day Human Resources operations, including employee relations, policy administration, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding for hourly and salaried employees.
  • Administer payroll, benefits, leave of absence programs, workers' compensation, unemployment, and HRIS systems.
  • Partner with managers on employee relations, investigations, performance management, coaching, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, employee communications, and organizational documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain accurate personnel records.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment, employee benefit education, and company events.
  • Support safety initiatives, accident investigations, OSHA compliance efforts, and return-to-work programs.
  • Prepare HR reports and maintain employee records to support business operations and compliance.
  • Maintain HR processes, policies, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Five or more years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience with payroll, benefits administration, HRIS, and employment law.
  • Strong employee relations, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with all levels of the organization.


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
