Senior Network Engineer — Newly Created Role | High‐Growth, Recession‐Resistant Company
A fast‐expanding, recession‐proof industry leader is modernizing its facilities and rolling out a wave of major infrastructure upgrades. To support this transformation, the company is launching a brand‐new Senior Network Engineer role — ideal for someone who wants to shape architecture, drive projects, and elevate a rapidly growing environment.
The Role
You’ll serve as the senior technical authority for enterprise networking, guiding design decisions, strengthening reliability, and leading high‐impact initiatives across the organization. This is a hands‐on engineering role with real influence and a steady pipeline of meaningful projects.
What You’ll Handle
- Administration and optimization of firewalls, switches, routers, wireless controllers, and access points
- Management of LAN, WAN, and wireless environments
- Support and enhancement of VoIP systems, including QoS/CoS strategies
- Primary technical contact for network vendors, carriers, and service partners
- Regular audits of network assets, configurations, and documentation
- Leadership of IT projects from planning through completion
- Strong QA mindset and clean, consistent documentation
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred
- 10+ years of experience designing and supporting enterprise networks (LAN/WAN/WLAN)
- Expertise with:

- VoIP systems
- BGP, MPLS, VPN, OSPF, TCP/IP, STP
- 802.1X, NAC, ClearPass, Cisco ISE, ACLs
- Site‐to‐site and client VPNs (IPSec, always‐on clients)
- Enterprise‐class switches, routers, and firewalls
- Working with service‐provider‐supported environments
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Bonus Skills
- Experience in regulated industries
- Familiarity with Fortinet, ArubaOS, ArubaOS‐CX
- Relevant certifications, training and/or study (Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, etc.)
- Linux administration
- Exposure to 21 CFR or ISO environments
