A prominent and long-standing law firm in Rhode Island is currently seeking a dedicated Real Estate Paralegal to become an integral part of their legal team. Responsibilities of the Real Estate Paralegal:
- Draft, review, and manage legal documents tied to residential and commercial real estate deals, including agreements, deeds, mortgages, and title-related documents.
- Conduct title searches and evaluate title reports to address any potential issues.
- Handle end-to-end coordination of real estate closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout.
- Liaise with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other involved parties to facilitate timely transactions.
- Maintain organized legal files and ensure all documentation meets legal standards and procedures.
Qualifications for the Real Estate Paralegal:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate law, preferably within a law firm.
- Strong grasp of Rhode Island real estate law, title review processes, and closing procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and real estate software (such as Qualia or comparable platforms).
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A paralegal certificate is preferred but not required.
