Chipton-Ross is seeking 5 Design & Analysis Engineers (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Berkeley, MO.


Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance is Required



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

• 5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelors OR 3 yrs work-related experience with a Masters


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements.

• Develops or modifies basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements.

• Performs system tests to verify operational and functional requirements.

• Supports fabrication technicians and suppliers’ questions during build and fabrication process

• Supports resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies.

• Supports hands-on troubleshooting of test racks

• Perform acceptance test procedures to demonstrate conformance to design and document results

• Develop and maintain scripts used to run test functions using C and C++

• Researches basic technologies for potential application to company business needs


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

•Experience with laboratory test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•Strong foundation in C, C++, and python

•Siemens Capital experience


REQUIRED EDUCATION

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.


TRAVEL:

Potential for infrequent travel, both domestic and abroad.


WORK HOURS

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hourly pay rate is: $63.62-$79.93
