Ensure the orderly and timely flow of component parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to meet production schedule requirements. Responsible for issuing materials to production operations, handling large/heavy work pieces, performing area cleanup, and ensuring effective inventory control over incoming and stocked materials, equipment, and supplies.
Responsibilities
- Possess necessary computer skills to proficiently handle routine tasks.
- Communicate clearly with coworkers, planners, material managers, and internal customers to work toward team goals.
- Identify material shortages and support problem-solving resolutions.
- Document and distribute scrap/salvage parts.
- Kit daily or weekly assembly picks as required by job function.
- Possess a general knowledge of material planning, control, manufacturing environments, and inventory methodology.
- Exhibit general organizational, communication, collaboration, and flexibility skills.
- Work with minimal supervision and follow established procedures for routine work.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled facility with a friendly manufacturing team. The position is for the 1st shift, from 6am to 2:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of State College, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
