We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join a leading law firm specializing in estate planning and trust administration. In this role, you will work on wealth transfers, tax filings, and entity formation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex estate and gift tax matters and trust administration.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in drafting and reviewing estate planning documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and file estate and gift tax returns in accordance with legal requirements.
• Support trust administration processes, including managing records and communication with trustees.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to estate law and wealth transfer strategies.
• Facilitate entity formation by preparing necessary documentation and filings.
• Collaborate with attorneys to gather and organize information for client cases.
• Maintain meticulous records and ensure deadlines are met for all filings and submissions.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather required information and provide updates on case progress.
• Monitor changes in estate laws and regulations to keep the team informed.
• Coordinate with financial institutions and other parties involved in estate planning and administration.
• Minimum of five years of experience in estate planning and trust administration.
• Strong knowledge of estate law, including estate and gift tax regulations.
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in legal documentation and filings.
• Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Familiarity with entity formation procedures and related documentation.
• Ability to adapt to evolving legal requirements and practices.
