Position Overview
The Middle School Girls' Tennis Coach is responsible for supporting the success of the Middle School Girls' Tennis program. The Middle School Girls' Tennis Coach manages the day-to-day operations of the program while playing a key role in preparing student-athletes for the next level of their athletic journey. All coaches are required to abide by rules and regulations of the NFHS, and Breck School.
Responsibilities

Foster a positive team culture – model teamwork, trust, inclusivity, respect and leadership; encourage sportsmanlike conduct at all times.

Manage and supervise practices and athletic events.

Work with student athletes to improve their abilities in Middle School Girls' Tennis.

Partner with coaching staff to provide unity across all levels and teams.

Encourage and support multi-sport athletes within Breck.
Qualifications

Prior playing or coaching experience Girls' Tennis (at the Middle School or High School is preferred).

Ability to work effectively and positively with adolescent athletes.

Knowledge of Girls' Tennis fundamentals and effective coaching techniques and skills, of Middle School Girls' Tennis.

Experience building and maintaining effective working relationships with school administrators, opponents, staff, parents, and athletes.

Exhibits professionalism, organizational, communication, delegation, and interpersonal skills.
