Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and play areas in accordance with Jidan Cleaning's standards.
• Disinfect toys, desks, doorknobs, light switches, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including child-sized toilets and sinks, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; spot clean carpets as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles, replace liners, and transport waste to designated areas.
• Clean kitchen or food prep areas, wiping down surfaces and sanitizing sinks.
• Ensure all cleaning products are used safely and stored securely away from children's reach.
• Inspect work areas to confirm they meet cleanliness and safety standards.
• Secure the facility upon completion of cleaning duties.
• Communicate any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

• Proof of legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical cleaning tasks.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Experience cleaning in a childcare or similar environment preferred, but not required.

Work Environment

This role requires working after daycare hours to ensure the facility is ready for the next day. The work involves cleaning in areas designed for young children, so attention to detail, safety, and sanitation is critical.
