General Liability Associate (2+ Years) – St. Petersburg, FL
A prominent defense firm in St. Petersburg is seeking an associate with 2+ years of experience to join their expanding team. This role offers significant responsibility and the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters for a diverse client base.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle complex general liability defense matters from inception through resolution
- Manage written discovery, depositions, and motion practice
- Draft and argue dispositive and discovery motions
- Work directly with clients, insurers, and expert witnesses
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of general liability defense experience (complex matters preferred)
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Deposition and courtroom experience
- Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating with a team
- Excellent client communication skills
- Active license and good standing in FL
Compensation:
$135,000-$225,000 base salary + bonuses
