Job Title: ServiceNow Developer Intern
Location: Persistent Technology Inc.
Hours: 20 hours per week
Duration: 6 months
Compensation: $40/hour
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated ServiceNow Developer Intern to join our team and support the development and enhancement of our ServiceNow platform. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing workflows using ServiceNow, with a focus on AI/ML integration. You will collaborate with our IT and business teams to implement innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and customize applications within the ServiceNow platform, including modules such as IT Asset Management (ITAM), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), and IT Service Management (ITSM).
· Leverage AI/ML technologies, including NLP and agentic AI, to enhance automation and intelligent decision-making within the platform.
· Assist in designing and implementing workflows, UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and integrations using ServiceNow best practices.
· Work with REST/SOAP APIs to integrate ServiceNow with external systems.
· Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization of ServiceNow applications.
· Document development processes and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
· Support user training and adoption efforts related to ServiceNow enhancements.
Qualifications
Required:
· Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
· Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, with hands-on experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and agentic AI.
· Experience with JavaScript, GlideScript, REST APIs, and web technologies.
· Analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Preferred:
· Experience with ITAM, SPM, and ITSM modules in ServiceNow.
· Familiarity with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and UI/UX development.
· Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
· ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) credential is a plus.
