Desired Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist certification
- Experience conducting assessments and evaluations in a school setting
- Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and educational interventions
- Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team
- Organizational skills and attention to deadlines
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support student interventions and appropriate placements
- Provide individual and group counseling to address social and emotional needs
- Support teachers and administrators with classroom management techniques and strategies
- Assist in crisis intervention and development of behavioral support plans
- Actively engage with families and communicate results, recommendations, and strategies
- Maintain documentation and reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
