Job DescriptionSST Group offers a broad range of solutions for hospitals, large medical centers, and doctors' offices, from simple data storage to specialized DICOM medical solutions. The company has been in the medical solutions business for 20 years and sells to some of the biggest names in the industry. We are looking for a part-time technical support representative for our customer support call center, supporting the company's line of medical archive storage devices. The ideal candidate will be an energetic person with knowledge of PACs systems, Windows 10/11, and medical imaging workflows.
Role DescriptionThis is a part-time, on-site role for a Medical Technical Support Specialist located in Santa Clara, CA. The Medical Technical Support Specialist will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the company's DICOM solutions. IT experience (SQL, IIS, HL7, Active Directory) and an understanding of currently deployed security stacks are required. Daily tasks include providing technical support, responding to customer inquiries, offering remote and on-site assistance, conducting system diagnostics, and maintaining customer satisfaction through exceptional service.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience in the medical technology field
  • Critical thinking: Ability to assess, analyze, and act independently to achieve goals.
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate difficult concepts to all user levels.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for helping customers (internal and external)
  • Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Working knowledge of DICOM and hospital PACs systems
  • Must be able to respond quickly to critical issues.
  • Strong IT skills and Time Management: Ability to prioritize and handle a large volume of multiple, concurrent requests.


Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years Technical Support and troubleshooting Experience
