Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and driven B-Level Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, and suspension. As a Skill B Technician, you bridge the gap between routine maintenance and advanced master-level diagnostics, performing most repairs with little to no supervision.
Key Responsibilities

Advanced Diagnostics: Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electronic issues across various vehicle makes and models, foreign and domestic.

Complex Repairs: Perform skilled repairs on brakes, steering, suspension, air conditioning, and light engine/transmission components.

Quality Control: Test-drive vehicles to ensure all repairs meet performance and safety specifications.

Documentation: Accurately document all work performed and parts used within Tekmetric shop management system.

Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to Entry-Level (C-Class) technicians and apprentices as needed.

Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all OSHA and company safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience (progressing from a General Service/C-level role).

Technical Knowledge: Minor proficiency with diagnostic scanners and a strong understanding of automotive electrical systems.

Certifications: Valid Driver’s License required; ASE certifications are highly preferred but not required.

Tools: Must possess and own a basic-to-intermediate set of personal tools. Sharing of tools between technicians is limited

Efficiency: Proven ability to work independently and maintain high productivity in a fast-paced shop environment.
