Retail Sales Associate
Nampa Floors and Interiors
Job Location: Nampa, Idaho
Job Summary:
The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for greeting customers, assisting customers with flooring selections, answering questions, providing good customer experience and following through with sales and service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Comfortable handling phone calls professionally.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Proficient in basic computer skills and willing to learn new software.
Previous experience in sales or the flooring industry is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding the project requirements.
- Close collaboration with retail customers, project managers, and clients to gain insight into the project budget, timeline and overall scope of work.
- Review project scope on plans and specifications.
- Jobsite measurement and current flooring inspection required to provide customer estimates.
- Create and provide accurate estimates for flooring projects.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and secure sale and installation.
- Schedule field measurements and installations, communicating effectively with installers and vendors.
- Reviewing bid documents and verifying material quantities.
- Attending project meetings and handling project responsibilities from start to finish.
Benefits: This is a full-time position, with PTO (paid-time-off), employer contribution to 401K, allowance for health insurance and discount on company products. Applicants being considered will be scheduled for interviews.
