Job Summary
Perform routine facility maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance activities to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment. Respond to maintenance requests, complete repair projects, maintain building systems, and support facility operations through hands-on maintenance services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance repairs and facility improvement projects.
- Implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
- Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
- Complete assigned projects with minimal supervision.
- Perform general building maintenance and repair tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of completed and ongoing maintenance work.
- Assist with snow removal and exterior maintenance.
- Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and building repairs.
- Replace light bulbs, filters, and other building components as needed.
- Use maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to perform basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and repair work.
- Ability to use standard maintenance tools and equipment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Availability for on-call maintenance responsibilities.
- Prior maintenance experience preferred.
