What This Job Actually Is
This is a client-facing Project Manager role for a high-end kitchen and bathroom remodeling company. You'll be in direct, regular contact with homeowners, crews, and vendors from the day a project sells through the final walkthrough, and you'll work hands-on producing design packages — specs, renderings, and product selections built in design software (SketchUp and/or 20/20) — alongside the scheduling, purchasing, and vendor payables that keep a job moving. On the financial side, you'll place and pay vendor orders and track outlays against each job's costs. To do this well you need to be highly organized, sharp on detail, a clear and confident communicator, comfortable with both project management and design software, and just as comfortable welcoming clients in the showroom as you are coordinating with homeowners and installers on site or keeping vendors and schedules on track from the office. If that combination sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

About Us
We're the premier kitchen and bathroom remodeling company serving Essex, Morris, and Passaic counties, and we're growing fast. We've built our reputation on craftsmanship — but just as much on how our team treats people. We're a friendly, close-knit group, and we're looking for someone who brings that same warmth to every homeowner and crew member they work with, especially the high-end clients who expect it.

What You'll Do
Design & Technical Support

  • Produce design packages for jobs — floor plans, elevations, and renderings (SketchUp and/or 20/20)
  • Develop specs for products and materials
  • Build out project costs by itemization
  • Assist sales by researching and answering technical product questions

Scheduling & Coordination

  • Coordinate installers, deliveries, and trades
  • Confirm timing with homeowners before each milestone
  • Update project status in JobTread and GoHighLevel in real time
  • Coordinate service calls and customer follow-ups

Materials, Vendors & Purchasing

  • Track orders, delivery dates, and job readiness
  • Manage inbound/outbound inventory — receiving, staging, and verifying
  • Place orders for cabinetry, hardware, and bathroom materials
  • Be present in the office 9–5 to receive and catalog packages for jobs
  • Coordinate countertop templates, fabrication, and installs
  • Ensure correct materials are onsite before work begins
  • Pay vendors and track outlays against each specific job
  • Maintain supplier relationships and job costing accuracy

Site Visits & Customer Support

  • Conduct initial job measuring at project sites
  • Be onsite for the first day of the job to introduce homeowners to the team and hand off to the foreman
  • Make in-home visits to walk through and resolve any homeowner concerns
  • Prepare job folders, binders, and measurement sheets
  • Track milestones, change orders, and punch lists through to completion
  • Communicate proactively with homeowners — updates, confirmations, next steps
  • Capture job photos, documentation, and survey scores
  • Flag delays or issues before they become problems

Showroom & Office Presence

  • Engage warmly with showroom walk-ins
  • Bring a personable, friendly approach to every customer interaction, in person and over the phone

This role isn't limited to the list above — in a fast-growing small business, we all wear multiple hats.

What Success Looks Like

  • Design packages are accurate, complete, and ready before a job moves into production
  • No schedule surprises — the team always knows what's coming
  • Projects start with full material readiness
  • Customers get timely, clear, professional communication
  • Punch items close fast and jobs close out cleanly
  • The Project Manager has full visibility into every active job

What We're Looking For
Required

  • MUST HAVE - Experience with design software (SketchUp and/or 20/20) and the ability to produce design packages — specs, renderings, and product selections
  • Strong organizational skills and sharp attention to detail
  • Clear, confident communication with homeowners, crews, and vendors alike
  • A warm, personable manner — someone our high-end clients enjoy working with, not just someone who gets the job done
  • Comfort with project management software
  • Reliable transportation

Preferred

  • Home improvement or construction experience
  • Trades scheduling knowledge
  • Formal kitchen and bath design background — Designer/Project Manager experience a plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

What We Offer

  • Salary - $22 - $25/hour
  • Benefits – Health after 90 days, Dental & Vision, and Training
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday in our Bloomfield offices
  • A friendly, supportive team environment where people genuinely like coming to work

If you love keeping the trains running on time and you know how to make people feel genuinely well taken care of — especially clients who expect the best — we'd love to hear from you.
