Robert Half is Seeking a Tier 1 support engineer. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for resolving technical issues in a managed services environment. This position requires excellent troubleshooting abilities, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer support.


Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support to resolve system and user issues promptly and effectively.

• Collaborate with senior engineers and team members to address and resolve complex technical problems.

• Analyze and identify recurring technical issues, contributing to the development of long-term solutions.

• Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions within the ticketing system.

• Participate in on-call rotations, which may include evening and weekend shifts.

• Stay up-to-date with required technical training and certifications to enhance skill sets.

• Configure and troubleshoot printer setups for both remote and on-premise environments.

• Utilize Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools to ensure system health and performance.

• Assist with the management of Active Directory (On-Prem and Azure O365) and Group Policy settings.

• Support networking tasks, including VPN setups, VoIP configurations, and ensuring compliance with security protocols.

• Familiarity with Active Directory (On-Prem and Azure O365) and Group Policy.
• Experience with Exchange and Office 365 applications.
• Basic understanding of Windows desktop and server operating systems.
• Knowledge of VPN configurations and cloud hosting principles.
• Proficiency in working with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and configure printer setups in diverse environments.
• Foundational networking knowledge, including VoIP, ACLs, and security compliance.
• Competence in using the Windows Command Line interface for troubleshooting tasks.
