Our organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our Healthcare Construction division. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team responsible for large-scale, ground-up construction projects, and hospital expansions. The Assistant Project Manager will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and delivery of these high-value projects. This position is permanent, offering a chance to build a long-term career with our organization.

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

1. Assisting the Project Manager in all aspects of project delivery from inception to completion.
2. Coordinating and overseeing the work of construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
3. Implementing project plans, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
4. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project goals are met.
5. Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
6. Preparing regular reports on project status and presenting them to senior management and stakeholders.
7. Resolving any issues or problems that may arise during the construction process.
8. Ensuring all safety protocols are followed on the construction site.

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Project Manager role will possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically in large-scale, ground-up construction projects.
2. Proven experience in managing healthcare construction projects, particularly hospital expansions.
3. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, processes, and safety regulations.
5. Exceptional leadership, communication, and team management skills.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
8. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
