Job DescriptionWe are currently interviewing to fill Sandwich Artist positions at our LaGrange Subway. We are looking for a FT closer or two PT closers. Scheduling is flexible and can be set to have a consistent schedule week to week. Pay is WEEKLY via direct deposit. We are looking for team members who are punctual, communicative, respectful, conscious of food safety (don't worry we can train you), and excited to offer guests great customer service. Sr Sandwich Artists are the shift leads responsible for customer complaints, keeping the team on track to complete shift job tasks and ensuring food safety standards are met.
As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Shift Manager will focus on six main things:

- Controlling inventory
- Scheduling and supervising staff

In addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist®, key parts of your day to day will consist of:
- Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities
- Scheduling and supervising staff
- Practicing inventory control standards
- Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift
- Completing paperwork as needed

PREREQUISITESEducation: High school diploma or equivalentExperience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSCommunication and organizational skills
Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
