Job Location: San Jose, CA
Compensation: $170K - $230K base Depending on experience plus stock options!

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. RTL Design Engineer specializing in IP Design to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing advanced IP solutions, focusing on high-performance protocols such as PCIe, CXL, and Ethernet. The engineer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of innovative products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement RTL for high-speed communication IPs including PCIe, CXL, and Ethernet.
- Collaborate with system architects to define specifications and requirements for IP design.
- Perform block design and block synthesis to optimize designs for performance and area.
- Conduct thorough verification of RTL designs using System Verilog and other verification methodologies.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Work closely with physical design teams to ensure successful integration of IP into larger systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in RTL design and IP development.
- Proficiency in Verilog and System Verilog for RTL design and verification.
- Hands-on experience with complex block design as a block owner
- Strong understanding of block design and synthesis tools.
- Experience in block synthesis, SDC constraint writing, and timing analysis skills.
- Experience in CDC/RDC issue debugging.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Experience with PCIe, CXL, Ethernet, switching, networking, or packet-processing IPs is a bonus
