Job Summary:
This position exists to maintain the cleanliness, and safety of the facility and existing grounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleans the building by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors and surfaces, and cleaning windows
- Cleans and sanitizes restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors and restocks with supplies
- Maintains cleanliness of lunch, conference, and training rooms
- Organizes and keeps janitorial cleaning chemical storage area clean and maintains current cleaning chemical and supply inventory
- Performs minor repairs and or reports safety concerns, as needed
- Maintains exterior grounds and employee areas (smoking, parking lot, activity areas)
- Collects trash throughout the interior and exterior of the building by emptying trash cans, and recycling bins and disposal of waste properly
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good organizational skills
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, stoop and squat
- Occasionally climb on ladders and step stools
- May occasionally use scissor lift or pallet jack to complete repairs or move inventory
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10-20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, without assistance
- Required to reach with hands and arms to handle equipment and tools
- Visual ability to safely complete job duties
Work Environment:
The work environment conditions are typical of a manufacturing environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the basic functions. The noise level in the work environment ranges from quiet to moderate, however, hearing protection may be required if employee enters high noise areas as a part of their normal job duties.
