Weekend MHTs
MS State Hospital, near Pearl, MS, will be accepting resumes until noon Thursday, November 12, 2026, for the purpose of hiring (5) five Mental Health Technicians to work WEEKENDS in our Inpatient Psychiatric Service. Weekends will consist of Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The ideal candidate must be willing to work on an every other weekend rotation, at a minimum of 32 to 40 hours each weekend worked, plus a minimum of 6 state mandated holidays including Christmas or Thanksgiving. Scheduled holidays will be determined based on the needs of the hospital. Pay Rate is $22/hour. PERS Retirees must work a minimum of 16 to 20 hours per week at a Rate of $17.50/hr. The Contract will begin on or after December 7, 2026, and end June 30, 2027. Original documentation verifying your proof of education is required along with your resume. CPR certification is a plus.
