Job DescriptionFrench & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking Project Manager - Electrical for our office in Wall, NJ.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage electrical design projects for commercial, institutional, healthcare and industrial from schematic design through construction administration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and project stakeholders on electrical scope and deliverables
- Coordinate electrical design with mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, structural and civil disciplines
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and work plans
- Review and oversee the preparation of electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards, including NEC, NFPA, IES, energy codes, and local regulations
- Lead and mentor electrical designers and engineers, providing technical guidance and quality control
- Conduct internal quality reviews and ensure consistency with firm standards
- Participate in construction administration activities, including submittal reviews, RFIs, site visits, and field coordination
- Support business development efforts by assisting with proposals, scope development, and client presentations as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in NJ
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering design for building systems
- Previous experience managing projects and leading design teams
- Strong working knowledge of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
- Proficiency with industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design tools
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
The projected compensation range for this position is $125,000 to $155,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
