The SharePoint Administrator will play a critical role in supporting, configuring, and managing the organizations SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environments. This role is responsible for ensuring a secure, reliable, and user-friendly platform that supports collaboration across all departments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SharePoint Online administration, strong communication skills, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online and associated Microsoft 365 services (e.g., Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate).

Develop, manage, and maintain site collections, libraries, lists, workflows, web parts, permissions, and metadata structures.

Provide support to internal teams by troubleshooting SharePoint-related issues and implementing timely solutions.

Monitor performance and usage metrics; optimize SharePoint for improved speed, reliability, and security.

Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable SharePoint solutions that align with business needs.

Implement governance, compliance, and security policies for SharePoint and related platforms.

Design and manage user access roles and permissions in accordance with company policy.

Perform regular system audits and backups, and ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.

Provide end-user training and documentation to promote platform adoption and best practices.

Stay up-to-date with Microsoft 365 platform updates and recommend enhancements where necessary.

Required Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen or possess a valid U.S. Work Permit.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

3+ years of hands-on experience as a SharePoint Administrator, preferably with SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365).

Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions, and administration best practices.

Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint and Office 365 administration.

Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Teams integrations.

Experience in creating user guides and training documentation for technical and non-technical staff.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-700, MS-900, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate).

Knowledge of Microsoft Azure AD, compliance center, and security settings.

Experience in healthcare or medical group environments is a plus.

Understanding of HIPAA compliance in digital environments.
