Salary Range: $88,000 - $134,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of building maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for facility equipment and infrastructure.
  • Manage facility budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and oversee procurement of supplies and services.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and building regulations specific to manufacturing.
  • Plan, execute, and manage facility renovation, expansion, and capital improvement projects.
  • Optimize utility consumption and manage energy efficiency initiatives across the plant.
  • Supervise and lead the facilities maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in facilities management within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in industrial building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing) and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, and facility safety protocols specific to manufacturing operations.
  • Proven ability to manage facilities projects, including capital improvements, renovations, and equipment installations.
  • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and facilities budgeting.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
  • LEED Green Associate or other sustainability certifications and experience with energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or demonstrated experience managing complex facility upgrade projects.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and their application to facility operations and maintenance.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification or other advanced safety training relevant to industrial environments.
