Key requirements:
- Valid Special Education Certification for grades K-6
- Prior experience working within special education resource settings preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities
- Proven skills in developing and implementing IEPs
- Collaborative approach, able to work closely with staff and families
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering instruction tailored to the unique learning needs of each student
- Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records to support each learner’s development
- Coordinating with general education teachers to facilitate inclusion
- Developing and updating IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Fostering a supportive, respectful, and positive classroom culture
