Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and motivating Fitness Instructor to join our Fitness Team. The ideal candidate is passionate about fitness, experienced in group instruction and personal training, and committed to helping our members achieve their health and wellness goals.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead safe, effective, and engaging group fitness classes (e.g., yoga, spin, HIIT, strength training, aquatics, etc.)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting fitness environment
- Offer excellent customer service and build strong relationships with members
- Stay current with fitness trends and certifications
Qualifications
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification (required)
- Nationally recognized fitness certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, AFAA, ACSM, ISSA, etc.)
- Prior experience teaching group fitness or providing personal training (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, friendly, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays
