Company Store Team Lead (Closing Shift)
Job Summary – This position is responsible for providing and ensuring our customers with an excellent shopping experience. Position requires an on-floor presence and leadership throughout the day for store members. The position will be “hands on” assisting in training, customer service, daily floor activities and adjustments based on the instructions by store management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - To include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
Operations
- Assist management to determine the best practice for processes, work assignments, and prioritize work to enhance customer experience. Ensures leadership coverage throughout daily operation including opening and closing of the building and all related processes.
Supports the execution of processes, work routines, assignments focused on staff development and continued growth directed by management.
- Monitors daily store conditions for product mix, merchandising standards and food safety to meet customer service expectations.
- Monitor daily duties of all employees throughout the day. Directing and ensuring that all tasks and duties are being complete
- Order, manage and maintain inventory, product mix, and merchandising standards sufficient to meet organizational plans and goals.
Customer Service
- Provide a total shopping experience that will exceed our customers’ expectations.
- Maintain store presentation that represents Nueske’s Heritage and theme ensuring merchandise is well stocked.
- Identify and react to customer service needs or execution concerns providing feedback to management.
- Support management’s training initiatives to ensure outstanding customer service is provided to every customer.
- Possesses high ability to anticipate customers’ needs and the demands of a fast-paced retail environment.
Lead Responsibilities – Directly assists management to monitor all employees in the Company Store. Carries out lead responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, performing, assigning, and directing work; monitoring tasks to ensure they are done in a timely manner. Communicate directions to the team and provide direct feedback and support to store management. These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.

- Educations and/or Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Skills – Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior retail experience
- Computer proficiency in Windows/Word/Excel/Outlook.
