Job Description

We are seeking an experienced 1st shift Electronics Production Supervisor to lead daily operations within our electronic design and contract manufacturing environment. This role is highly hands-on and requires strong floor presence supporting SMT, cable/wire, and box build operations.

Key Responsibilities

Production Leadership

Supervise general assemblers, SMT operators, and electronic technicians
Ensure production schedules are met efficiently and on time
Communicate daily production goals and priorities
Enforce company policies, attendance, and environmental compliance

Technical & Process Oversight

Support SMT lines, reflow ovens, wave soldering, AOI, coating, and cable/wire equipment
Troubleshoot production issues and support engineering teams
Review production documentation and provide labor estimates for cable, PCB, and box builds
Maintain and improve production records and procedures in coordination with process engineering

Quality & Compliance

Ensure compliance with IPC standards
Maintain ISO-regulated processes
Support continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

7–10 years supervisory experience in electronics manufacturing (EMS preferred)
Working knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610 required)
Strong understanding of electronic components, schematics, and bills of material
Experience in ISO-regulated manufacturing environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Experience in contract manufacturing environment
Lean / process improvement background
