Parts Manager - Job Responsibilities:

  • Focus on customer satisfaction
  • Carry out policies and administer for the sale of parts and accessories to customers, wholesale accounts, and internal departments within the organization, at maximum profit.
  • Evaluate personnel and positions for staffing purposes, training, and motivating all department associates.
  • Develop and maintain a Parts Delivery Program for the technicians, thus improving the productivity and efficiency of the Service Department.
  • Evaluate, recommend inventory levels, and motivate the Parts Advisors to source back-ordered parts to complete service repairs in a timely manner to ensure the highest customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory and special orders to keep obsolete items to a minimum.
  • Develop and maintain a program to require prepayment on all special-order parts.
  • Maintain a process for monitoring, administering, and shipping CORE items to respective manufacturers.
  • Carry out and maintain daily Lost Sale information, recommending inventory adjustments accordingly to match trends.
  • Develop and maintain a Perpetual Inventory Process, performing inventory of all bin locations by the month's end. Review the results and verify that the computerized inventory matches the on-hand inventory
  • Carry out and maintain receiving and stocking procedures that will ensure precise inventory control.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for returning obsolete parts and accessories to their respective manufacturers.
  • Carry out and maintain policies and procedures to ensure associate satisfaction.

Parts Manager - Job Requirements:

  • Previous successful Parts Department experience required. Minimum 2 years.
  • New car dealership Parts Manager experience is a plus.
  • Automate DMS experience is a plus.
  • Strong people skills and a team player.
  • Able to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Valid in-state driver's license.
  • High School diploma or GED.

  • Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
  • every third Saturday 7:00 am - 12:00 noon
