API Architect Lead
Role Summary: The API Architect Lead is the senior technical expert responsible for ensuring MuleSoft and the proposed API platform/tools adhere to architectural concepts and best practices for API implementations, security, and integration within the CMS environment.
Education & Certification:
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree.
- Required: Cloud Architect Certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
Specialized Expertise:
- Required: Extensive experience with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Mulesoft, Azure API Management).
- Experience leading government projects of similar size and complexity.
- Ability to contribute to multiple technical areas, including processes, software, data, networks, and systems.
- SAFe cert and Mulesoft experience
Responsibilities:
- Designing a scalable and secure enterprise-level API architecture.
- Defining governance standards, overseeing API gateway deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborating with architects, business analysts, engineers, and project managers on technology projects, including software development, package installation, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Ensuring compliance with federal security standards and cloud best practices, and influencing requirements for solution architectures.
