What you’ll need to succeed:
• Valid Maine SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
• Proficiency with evidence-based evaluation and intervention
• Knowledge of IEP development, with a commitment to collaborative family engagement
• Comfort with both in-person and teletherapy models an asset
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Your key responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans targeting communication needs
• Document progress, interpret assessments, and participate in IEP meetings
• Work hand-in-hand with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student success
• Utilize innovative approaches and adapt techniques to suit diverse learning needs
• Foster a supportive environment that encourages positive outcomes for every student
