Our core values guide us to seek out a broad range of perspectives, talent, and backgrounds to achieve our mission; one where all staff contribute to and share our success. We recognize, respect and value the contributions of each employee, and we strive to cultivate a work environment that strikes an agreeable balance between our professional and personal lives.
Our values:
- Together, We Achieve More — collaboration over competition
- Client-First Stewardship — fiduciary excellence as our standard
- Ownership Mindset — alignment of interests across generations
What we offer:
- Collaborative, high-trust work environment
- Continuing education support and career growth pathways
- 401(k) with company match & bonus program
- Up to 95% company-paid health insurance
- Hybrid work flexibility
Position Overview:
The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) will be the architect and steward of our firm’s growth strategy — accelerating expansion without compromising our culture or ownership model. This executive will design and direct strategies for expanding our reach through all growth levers: advisor enablement, business development, mergers, strategic partnerships, pricing, and talent acquisition. The ideal candidate is a strategic doer, and must be passionate about our ownership model, aligned with our long-term vision, and excited to accelerate growth. We are open to candidates in the United States with the West Coast Preferred.
How you will contribute:
- Organic Growth (Brand & Business Development)
- Oversee marketing, including digital marketing, SEO/SEM content, analytics, and campaigns that drive qualified leads.
- Enhance brand awareness and reputation to attract clients and talent.
- Build scalable referral programs and COI programs to fuel growth.
- Partner with our Chief Practice Officer to enhance client acquisition and retention efforts.
- Inorganic Growth (Mergers & Recruiting)
- Partner with our Chief People Officer (CPO) to design and execute our lift-in (single advisor) recruiting strategy to attract top-tier talent aligned with our culture and ownership model.
- Partner with our CEO to source and negotiate mergers, guide deal execution with an emphasis on culture, and talent acquisition.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential partners, COIs, and industry leaders.
- Strategic Leadership & Collaboration
- Serve on the Executive Committee, contributing to firm-wide strategy and resource allocation.
- Direct a team of marketing and business development professionals.
- Be a visible champion of our employee-ownership model internally and externally.
The attributes and talents that lead to success in the role are:
Knowledge:
- 12+ years of experience heading sales teams, business development, marketing, or corporate strategy within wealth management, financial services, or related industries.
- Demonstrated success driving both organic and inorganic growth strategies within high-touch, UHNW environments.
- Strong understanding of marketing/digital marketing and related analytics.
- Experience structuring and integrating advisors or firm combinations.
Abilities:
- Deep belief in employee ownership, independence, and long-term relationships.
- Entrepreneurial mindset balanced with fiduciary discipline.
- Collaborative and culturally sensitive; able to align with and embrace firm’s mission and values.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on execution.
- Excited to accelerate growth within our model, not to redefine it.
Who Thrives Here
An ideal candidate will be motivated by our mission to empower families to take control of their financial lives, live their values with clarity and peace of mind, and actualize their dreams. We seek out a wide range of talented team members who share our values and vision. We value intellectual honesty, collaboration, and compassion. A strategic partner once called us “a cocker spaniel”: professional, loyal, warm, and relentlessly devoted. We like that.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Primarily sedentary work in an office with minimal distractions; walking throughout the office. Learn and memorize tasks; execute tasks independently; apply knowledge and use judgment to manage situations. Occasionally exert up to 10 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Perform repetitive motions; substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and fingers for computer keyboard operation. Use near visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing documents, operating a computer, and reading. Speak and hear to communicate with team members and clients by phone and in-person.
Aspiriant is committed to diversity, inclusion and belonging.
A diverse and inclusive culture is essential to providing the best to both our clients and our people. Including a variety of perspectives in all that we do is necessary for our innovation and growth. We envision a firm where our people see a community they belong to and an inspiring future…a firm where people can be themselves, learning is limitless, and everyone can thrive.
