Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Laser Operator for full-time employment with a leading manufacturer in the Greenville, MI area.
This role involves operating laser cutting machines, completing post-cutting processes, operating press brakes, performing quality inspections, and ensuring production meets high-quality and safety standards. A positive attitude, teachable mindset, and willingness to work some overtime are essential.
Job Type: Full-Time
Shifts Available: 1st shift 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay: $16.50 – $18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate laser cutting machines to produce components to specification
• Operate press brakes as needed for production requirements
• Perform quality inspections on finished parts to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with team members to complete post-cutting processes
• Safely operate cranes and other material-handling equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety guidelines and production procedures
Qualifications:
• Experience in laser cutting or related machining is preferred
• Familiarity with CNC programming is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise quality inspections
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
• Positive, teachable attitude with willingness to work overtime as needed
