Litigation Paralegal Insurance Defense

About the Firm
Our client is a well-established, diverse civil litigation law firm representing major insurance carriers. The firm focuses on all aspects of insurance defense litigation and is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and contracts.

  • Manage all aspects of discovery, including organizing, reviewing, and producing documents.

  • Obtain, review, and summarize medical records, billing statements, and other case materials.

  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation and attend hearings or trials when required.

  • Conduct legal research and prepare concise summaries.

  • Maintain accurate and organized case files, calendars, and deadlines.

  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses.

  • Track, record, and submit billable hours in accordance with firm requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience (insurance defense strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to meet billable hour expectations.

  • Demonstrated experience reviewing medical records and preparing chronologies is required.
  • Previous experience working in a defense law firm.

  • Consistent and stable employment history. No job hoppers, please!

Location & Schedule

  • Work Schedule: MondayFriday, 8 hours per day (40 hours per week).

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule Remote on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday; In-Office on Wednesday and Thursday.
