Litigation Paralegal Insurance Defense
About the Firm
Our client is a well-established, diverse civil litigation law firm representing major insurance carriers. The firm focuses on all aspects of insurance defense litigation and is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join their team.
Key Responsibilities

Draft legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and contracts.

Manage all aspects of discovery, including organizing, reviewing, and producing documents.

Obtain, review, and summarize medical records, billing statements, and other case materials.

Assist attorneys with trial preparation and attend hearings or trials when required.

Conduct legal research and prepare concise summaries.

Maintain accurate and organized case files, calendars, and deadlines.

Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses.

Track, record, and submit billable hours in accordance with firm requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience (insurance defense strongly preferred).

Proven ability to meet billable hour expectations.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing medical records and preparing chronologies is required.

Previous experience working in a defense law firm.

Location & Schedule

Work Schedule: MondayFriday, 8 hours per day (40 hours per week).

Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule Remote on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday; In-Office on Wednesday and Thursday.
