Looking for an experienced and motivated Electrician to join our growing field operations team.

This position is focused primarily on the electrical installation of custom motorized pergolas and outdoor living systems at high-end residential and commercial properties throughout South Florida.

We are looking for someone who can perform quality electrical installations today while developing into a Senior Lead Electrician capable of taking ownership of projects, mentoring other electrical technicians, coordinating inspections, maintaining quality standards, and eventually helping lead our electrical field operations.

Quality, professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail are extremely important in this position.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Complete electrical rough-ins and trim-outs for new pergola installations.
  • Install home runs from electrical panels to pergola structures.
  • Install conduit, junction boxes, wiring, disconnects, and related electrical components.
  • Install underground conduit and pull wire when required.
  • Perform trenching associated with freestanding structures and electrical runs.
  • Install GFCI-protected outlets and other receptacles.
  • Install and wire ceiling fans.
  • Install LED recessed lighting, LED strip lighting, transformers, drivers, dimmers, switches, and controls.
  • Install and connect motors and motor control systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, lighting, motor, and control issues associated with new installations.
  • Read and work from electrical plans, drawings, and project documentation.
  • Complete installations in accordance with NEC requirements, approved plans, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
  • Coordinate electrical work with pergola installation crews, Project Managers, and other trades.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites.

Inspections & Project Coordination

  • Prepare electrical installations for required inspections.
  • Attend electrical inspections when necessary.
  • Address and correct electrical inspection items.
  • Communicate with Project Managers regarding electrical requirements and project status.
  • Identify potential electrical issues before they delay project completion.
  • Communicate material needs, field conditions, and additional work requirements to the office.
  • Coordinate electrical work with the overall pergola installation schedule.
  • Maintain an organized company vehicle and appropriate electrical inventory.
  • Ensure required tools and materials are available before arriving at scheduled projects.
  • Properly document completed electrical work.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on electrical experience in residential and/or commercial construction.
  • Experience performing electrical rough-in and trim-out.
  • Working knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical safety practices.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting ability.
  • Basic knowledge of low-voltage wiring and controls.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assigned projects.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must have basic electrical hand and power tools.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in South Florida conditions.
  • Comfortable working from ladders and at elevated heights.
  • Comfortable working in attics, trenches, crawl spaces, and active construction environments.
  • Ability to safely perform the physical requirements associated with electrical construction.

Electrical license is not required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of electrical installation experience.
  • Experience reading electrical plans or blueprints.
  • Experience with motor controls or automation systems.
  • Experience with LED lighting and low-voltage systems.
  • Experience working in high-end residential construction.
  • Commercial electrical experience.
  • Experience interacting with homeowners, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades.
