Tandem is actively recruiting for 10 skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for immediate openings at a highly-regarded senior care facility, our valued client, located in Bethlehem, PA. As a CNA working at our client's facility, you will deliver high-quality direct care to residents under the supervision of the nursing staff, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being are prioritized.
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct resident care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining, in accordance with individual care plans.
- Accurately measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as directed.
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure safety.
- Closely observe residents for any changes in their physical or mental condition and promptly report all pertinent observations to the charge nurse or supervising medical staff at the facility.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents.
- Thoroughly and accurately document all care provided and observations made in resident records, adhering to facility and regulatory standards.
- Strictly follow all infection control, safety protocols, and client facility policies.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications):
- Be willing to obtain/renew through our training options facilitated by Tandem.
- A profound sense of compassion, empathy, and patience when interacting with residents.
- Strong observational abilities and clear communication skills (both verbal and written).
- The ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team at our client's location.
- A professional demeanor, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to reliability and punctuality.
- Previous experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living setting is a plus, but newly certified CNAs are also encouraged to apply.
- Ability to pass a background check as required by the healthcare facility.
