Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description

Right at Home Janesville is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and professional Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our overnight caregiving team. In this role, you will provide high-quality personal care and companionship services to seniors and adults who wish to remain safe and comfortable in their homes.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be provided with the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and support needed to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • Bathing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene assistance

  • Dressing and mobility support

  • Meal preparation and feeding assistance

  • Medication reminders

  • Light housekeeping and laundry

  • Companionship and emotional support

  • Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes

  • Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must have:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Active or lapsed CNA certification

  • Strong compassion and commitment to quality patient care

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Current auto insurance

  • CPR certification preferred
