The Cake Decorator is a key role within our bakery, responsible for crafting visually stunning and delicious cakes. This position requires a strong foundation in Cake Decorating techniques, coupled with a passion for Baking and a commitment to Food Safety and Sanitation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent Time Management skills, the ability to work effectively in a Teamwork environment, and a dedication to providing exceptional Customer Service. This role demands a detail-oriented individual who can maintain Cleanliness and adhere to Safety Standards while producing high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

  • Decorate cakes according to customer orders and established standards, demonstrating proficiency in various Cake Decorating techniques.

  • Prepare and bake cake components, ensuring adherence to recipes and Food Preparation guidelines.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, upholding strict Food Safety and Sanitation protocols.

  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks, demonstrating strong Time Management skills.

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and efficient workflow, fostering Teamwork.

  • Package and label finished products accurately, utilizing Packaging and Labeling best practices.

  • Provide excellent ** Customer Service** by interacting with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with Positivity.

  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies, demonstrating General Mathematics skills.

  • Adhere to all Safety Standards and maintain a safe working environment.

  • Demonstrate Detail Oriented approach in all aspects of cake decoration and presentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Cake Decorating techniques, including frosting, piping, and fondant work.

  • General knowledge of baking principles and practices.

  • Working knowledge of Food Safety and Sanitation regulations.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

  • Excellent Communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a bakery or food service environment.

  • Experience with Multitasking.
