Job Title: Full Stack Developer / Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL
Schedule: 2 days/week in office
Duration: Long-term contract

Must Have: Financial Services experience. The Full Stack Developer / Engineer will build secure, scalable, and reliable technology solutions with minimal oversight to support the client's global marketplace and risk management platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, production-ready applications
• Write clean, modular, and reliable code with strong focus on backend Java development
• Develop application modules and unit tests with minimal guidance
• Support debugging and design of automated test frameworks
• Conduct system-wide and integration testing
• Create and maintain test artifacts and support artifact reviews
• Work within a Continuous Integration environment using Jenkins and Ansible
• Collaborate with team members to independently design and deliver technical solutions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong Core Java development background
• Hands-on experience with Multithreading
• Strong backend development expertise
• Good UNIX knowledge with prior industry experience
• Experience with automation testing, including Cucumber
• Experience with Jenkins and Ansible in CI environments
• Financial Services industry experience is required
